The Critical Access Hospital Program or (CAH) was designed to enable small rural towns and communities to have access to hospitals for providing “total care” including emergency room access. Our hospitals provide quality care through local physicians and nurse practitioners. Our physicians are typically in house 24 hours / 7 days a week. Critical access hospitals often provide outpatient services, including outpatient therapy and wound care services. AHM is committed to providing the highest quality of care in each community it serves.
